Overview
Battle Browser is a historical reference application operated as part of the EveryBattle project. It provides access to records from the Battle Archive Database, together with maps, images, and related public source material. The application does not require users to create an account.
Information Collected
Battle Browser does not require account registration or the submission of personal information.
- The application does not request names, telephone numbers, contacts, photographs, payment information, or precise location data.
- Saved battles, saved commanders, recently viewed records, theme preferences, and cached archive data may be stored locally on your device.
- Google Play may provide crash reports and diagnostic information in accordance with your device and Google Play settings.
Third-Party Services
The Battle Archive Database is a copyrighted database maintained by EveryBattle. Battle Browser may also retrieve or link to content provided by Wikipedia, Wikimedia, OpenStreetMap, and Google Play. Requests made to those external services are governed by the respective provider's privacy policy and terms.
Website Analytics
The EveryBattle website may use Google Analytics to measure general traffic and page usage. This analytics disclosure applies to the website and does not apply to the Battle Browser Android application unless this policy is revised to state otherwise.
